About: I am easy going, a free spirit, a good listener, critical, analytical, and observant but negligent, indifferent, aloof and clumsy, quiet but very sociable, young and an old soul at heart, detached and unemotional but sensitive, I am simple but complex.

I do not conform to anything that is the slightest bit 'the norm' or 'the dominant.' I am quick to question anything that is 'a given' or anything that appears to be a 'just because -' It is part of my analysis of the world. I am not pessimistic, just inquisitive and always on the quest for the multiple truths that make up the world.

Just thought I’d reflect on the details of the Egyptian-sponsored truce deal between Israel and Gaza in late November.
*Israel is to stop all aggression against the Gaza Strip from land, sea and air, including cross-border incursions and targeted killings. (VIOLATED)
*Palestinian factions are to stop all aggression from Gaza towards Israel, including rocket fire and attacks on the border. (Such good men, up to their word)
*All border crossings are to be opened 24 hours after the ceasefire takes effect, easing restrictions on travel of people and goods in and out of the Gaza Strip. (Didn’t happen yet, uhm!)
*Other terms will be discussed as necessary at a later date. (Whenever the fuck that is…)
*Egypt acts as guarantor and has received guarantees from all sides to adhere to the terms of the ceasefire. (You’ve been useless with all due respect.)

Photos - Ethnically cleansing #BabAlShams last night.

Bab al-Shams (“Gate of the Sun”)

Mourning the death of Anwar Mamlok,21 who was shot yesterday by Israeli fire in northern Gaza, according to his brother, Anwar was in the outdoor area studying for an exam when he was killed.
May he rest in peace

Four years ago on this day the people of Gaza were being slaughtered by Israel, today, they celebrate their victory and defiance in the face of Israel. May the coming year be filled with countless victories. I ♥ you, Gaza
#Israel #AntiAfricanProtest #TelAviv

Amid the protests in Southern Tel Aviv against the African immigration, one Ethiopian man protested in response and said “I am Jewish”, another Israeli Jewish protester of a lighter skin tone spat at him and said “You cannot be Jewish”, other protesters have called on African Jews residing in Israel to leave and go back to Africa. One woman also screamed “The time has come to kick out the Sudanese” and “Sudanese to Sudan”
These protests are against the African migration taking place, immigrants from various parts of Africa and moving into Israel and the ‘white’ population is rather angered by this.

I find this ironic.

I mean, t
he Israeli government continues to ethnically cleanse Palestinian lands to build more Jewish settlements, not only so but they accept almost anyone that proves to them that they are Jewish regardless of where they are from. Within their entity, White/European Jews are angry with Israel allowing Black/African Jews to immigrate and protests that they go back to where they came from, back to Ethiopia, to Sudan.. etc. Questions is here, How can one immigrant ask another to return to where they came from, doesn’t this give the African Jews in Israel to ask the European Jews the same thing? To go back to Germany and Russia.. etc. The Israel government kills Palestinians, demolishes their homes for the comfort, well being, and security of Jewish settlers yet they are not satisfied.

To be quite honest, I don’t know what to make of this. One thing is, I am disgusted about how racist these people are and two of those sides equally have no right to live in Palestine.

Israel takes in more Bnei Menashe 'lost tribe' members

“A tribe that has extremely tenuous claims of being Jewish in origin is given automatic Israeli citizenship even after a ‘hiatus’ of 1300 years of contact; sadly, Palestinians who remember which house they were born in and have lived there for generations have no claim to any land or rights.” - Yasir Qadhi

The Graduate Student Union of University of Toronto (St. George) has passed a Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions resolution against Israel. CONGRATULATIONS TO SAIA UofT!

#Hunger4Dignity

Israel must release all administrative detainees or prosecute them, in accordance with due process, for the offenses they allegedly committed. As long as Israel continues to use administrative detention, it must do so in a way that comports with international law - only in the most exceptional cases, when there is no other alternative, and in a proportionate manner.

#Hunger4Dignity

Over the years, Israel has administratively detained thousands of Palestinian for prolonged periods of time, without prosecuting them, without informing them of the charges against them, and without allowing them or their attorneys to study the evidence, making a mockery of the protections specified in Israeli and international law to protect the right to liberty and due process, the right of defendants to state their case, and the presumption of innocence.
