About: I am easy going, a free spirit, a good listener, critical, analytical, and observant but negligent, indifferent, aloof and clumsy, quiet but very sociable, young and an old soul at heart, detached and unemotional but sensitive, I am simple but complex.

I do not conform to anything that is the slightest bit 'the norm' or 'the dominant.' I am quick to question anything that is 'a given' or anything that appears to be a 'just because -' It is part of my analysis of the world. I am not pessimistic, just inquisitive and always on the quest for the multiple truths that make up the world.

So many messages from the time Gaza was being bombed back in November, I just realized they were there and I just got to read through them, I won’t flood my blog with all this sweetness and solidarity, Thank God things are better now. Thank you for all your love and support it was really needed :)

More than 75% of the entire Palestinian population was driven outside of their homes and kicked out of their land and denied their rights of return to their homeland, and the remaining 25% of Palestinians live as second class citizens in the illegal state of Israel or under a brutal military occupation in the West Bank and Gaza. While world powers support the crimes committed by Israel, we, the people of the world, support the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom and equal rights.

Boycott Israeli goods and oppose Israeli occupation, racism, brutality against the indigenous of the land.
Boycott Apartheid, Boycott Israel.

Occupation, curfew, settlements, closed military zone, administrative detention, siege, preventive strike, terrorist infrastructure, transfer. Their WAR destroys language. Speaks genocide with the words of a quiet technician.Occupation means that you cannot trust the OPEN SKY, or any open street near to the gates of snipers tower. It means that you cannot trust the future or have faith that the past will always be there.Occupation means you live out your life under military rule, and the constant threat of death, a quick death from a snipers bullet or a rocket attack from an M16.A crushing, suffocating death, a slow bleeding death in an ambulance stopped for hours at a checkpoint. A dark death, at a torture table in an Israeli prison: just a random arbitrary death.A cold calculated death: from a curable disease. A thousand small deaths while you watch your family dying around you.Occupation means that every day you die, and the world watches in silence. As if your death was nothing, as if you were a stone falling in the earth, water falling over water. And if you face all of this death and indifference and keep your humanity, and your love and your dignity and YOU refuse to surrender to their terror, then you know something of the courage that is Palestine.Suheir Hammad

The Four Palestinians killed so far this week by #Israel for no reason. Two from #Gaza, one from #Hebron, and the latest one, killed today, from Budrus.

“If any foreign power surrounded Israel, destroyed Haifa port and Tel Aviv airport, and prevented Israeli exports from being exported, what do you think Israelis would do? Oh, that’s right, it is rude to see both Palestinians and Israelis as equal human beings.”

Just thought I’d reflect on the details of the Egyptian-sponsored truce deal between Israel and Gaza in late November.
*Israel is to stop all aggression against the Gaza Strip from land, sea and air, including cross-border incursions and targeted killings. (VIOLATED)
*Palestinian factions are to stop all aggression from Gaza towards Israel, including rocket fire and attacks on the border. (Such good men, up to their word)
*All border crossings are to be opened 24 hours after the ceasefire takes effect, easing restrictions on travel of people and goods in and out of the Gaza Strip. (Didn’t happen yet, uhm!)
*Other terms will be discussed as necessary at a later date. (Whenever the fuck that is…)
*Egypt acts as guarantor and has received guarantees from all sides to adhere to the terms of the ceasefire. (You’ve been useless with all due respect.)
